Runner-up finish with MARS Racing Series at Adams County

With Mother Nature axing the first two nights of the tripleheader weekend with the MARS Racing Series, Ryan Unzicker traveled to Adams County Speedway (Quincy, Ill.) on Sunday for the $7,000-to-win event. Following the fourth-fastest time in his group, Unzicker outdueled McKay Wenger in his heat race to pick up the win. After leading several laps of the feature, Ryan slipped back to second when the checked flag flew, following Tommy Sheppard Jr. across the line.
