Ryan Unzicker lands fourth-place finish in XR 100K Upgrade at Kokomo
Monday night found Ryan Unzicker in action at Kokomo Speedway (Kokomo, Ind.) for the XR Super Series-sanctioned 100k Upgrade.
With 42 Late Models on the grounds for the six-figure payday, Unzicker laid down the sixth-fastest lap in his time trial group before finishing second in his heat race. Earning the eighth-starting position for the $100,000-to-win A-Main, Ryan inched forward four spots in the 100-lap affair to register a fourth-place finish. He chased Hudson O’Neal, Brandon Sheppard, and Bobby Pierce to the checkers with Tanner English coming in fifth.
