Top-10 finish in World of Outlaws FALS Frenzy at Fairbury
Ryan Unzicker entered a single event over the weekend with a visit to Fairbury Speedway (Fairbury, Ill.) for the World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series-sanctioned FALS Frenzy.
With a stacked field of 33 Late Models on the grounds, Unzicker laid down the sixth-fastest lap in his time trial group before muscling forward one spot in his heat to finish second. Chasing a $15,000 payday in the FALS Frenzy A-Main, Ryan was running in the top-five until his tire choice proved to be factor as he faded in the closing laps to finish eighth.
