Ryan Unzicker visits Spoon River and Fairbury for weekly shows
Fresh off his victory with the MARS Late Model Series, Ryan Unzicker pulled into Spoon River Speedway (Canton, Ill.) on Friday afternoon for the track's weekly event.
Starting on the third-row in the $2,000-to-win feature, Unzicker made his way up to second before hitting a rut which caused a mechanical failure on the car. Ryan was scored 12th in the final running order.
Hoping for better luck at Fairbury (Ill.) Speedway's opening night on Saturday, Ryan started fifth in the 30-lap feature but once again dealt with mechanical issues that derailed his evening.
