Ryan Unzicker settles with fourth at Fairbury Speedway
Ryan Unzicker rejoined the DIRTcar Summer Nationals on Thursday at the mighty Macon Speedway (Macon, Ill.) for the 44th annual Herald & Review 100.
In another eventful feature that was slowed by multiple cautions, Ryan was sidelined on lap 42 while running in sixth.
On Friday at Farmer City Raceway (Farmer City, Ill.), Unzicker raced into the $10,000-to-win Hell Tour main event with a runner-up run in his B-Main. Pinned near the tail, Ryan elected to pull off early to save his equipment.
His weekend concluded on Saturday with more bad luck at Fairbury Speedway (Fairbury, Ill.). After jumping out to an early lead in the feature, Unzicker suffered a broken brake line while out front that relegated him to fourth in the finishing order.
