Ryan Unzicker claims runner-up honors at Spoon River

Ryan Unzicker unloaded his RJR Transportation No. 24 Late Model at Spoon River Speedway (Banner, Ill.) on Saturday evening for the $5,000-to-win A-Main.

Finding speed early in his new Longhorn Chassis entry, Unzicker topped the overall speed charts before placing first in his heat. Taking the green from pole in the feature, Ryan surrendered one spot in the 25-lapper to place second. He chased Jason Feger to the checkers with Brandon Eskew finishing third.
