Ryan Unzicker takes DIRTcar Fall Nationals opener at Lincoln Speedway

Ryan Unzicker joined 23 Late Models at Lincoln (IL) Speedway over the weekend as the 29th annual DIRTcar Fall Nationals kicked off at the quarter-mile oval.

After racing into Friday’s opener with a heat race victory, Unzicker kept a threatening Jason Feger at bay for all 25 laps of the feature to secure his eighth win of the season and the $2,000 payday. He finished 0.754 seconds ahead of Feger with Jose Parga finishing third.

On Saturday, Ryan backed up a runner-up heat outing with a fourth-to-second showing in the $3,000-to-win DIRTcar Fall Nationals finale. Unzicker joined race-winner Jason Feger and Dakota Ewing on the podium.
